§ Sir JOHN SPEARasked the First Lord of the Admiralty if the Committee appointed to inquire into the grievances of the carpenter warrant officers of the Royal Navy has reported; and is there any prospect of the claims of the men being met?
§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe Committee which dealt with the naval shipwrights dealt also with the carpenter warrant officers, and, as I stated in answer to the hon. Members for Portsmouth and Devonport on the 28th of last month, the Report of the Committee is now before the Board, but a decision has not yet been arrived at. There will be no undue delay.
