asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland), whether the Department has made any experiments with reference to the best kind of grass seeds for laying down land for pasture or five or six years' duration, also for permanent pasture; what mixture is recommended; and what quantity of each per Irish acre?

The answer to the first and second parts of the question is m the affirmative. I shall have pleasure in sending the hon. Member a memorandum of particulars as to the mixtures recommended.
