Major WHITEasked the Secretary to the Treasury how many persons have been appointed to the staff of the National 1445W Insurance Commission (England), distinguishing between the different grades and stating the nature of the employment; what are the names and salaries of such persons, respectively, and what were their occupations and addresses previous to their appointment; did they all or which of them pass a competitive examination and when, respectively; in the case of those who did not so pass what were the special qualifications for appointment; and how many applicants were there for the positions filled?
