§ Colonel SEELYAn officer commanding an extra Special Reserve battalion when employed on military duty draws in pay and allowances 25s. a day, and during the annual training draws in addition 14s. 2d. a day for various allowances. There is no information at the War Office regarding the pay of an exon of the King's Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard. An officer drawing retired pay as a major of the Army can hold both these appointments, and on mobilisation would join his battalion.
