§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThe answer is in the negative. A sum of £10,000 is paid (see Civil Service Estimates Class I., Vote 14, Sub-head G) as a special contribution to the London County Council to the expenses of maintaining the Fire Brigade under the Act 28, 29 Vic. c. 90, Section 18, in addition to the contribution in lieu of rates on Government property in London for the Fire Brigade.
