§ Mr. SNOWDENasked the President of the Board of Education if it is intended that any additional benefits which may be given by pension rights in the promised Teachers' Superannuation Act (Amendment) Bill will apply to teachers already superannuated?
Mr. PEASEI hope shortly to introduce a Bill to amend the Elementary School Teachers Superannuation Act, 1898. Its contents were foreshadowed by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on Monday last. I must ask the hon. Member to allow me to defer any further statement until the introduction of the Bill.
