§ Mr. JOHNasked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether, before sanctioning any scheme associating in the matter of agricultural education the counties of Glamorganshire and Monmouthshire with those of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and Somersetshire, he will ascertain the opinion thereon of the representatives of Wales generally, and of Glamorganshire and Monmouthshire in particular?
§ Mr. HERBERT LEWISMy right hon. Friend hopes to meet representatives of the counties of Glamorgan and Monmouth in conference shortly after the recess to discuss with them by what means co-operation between them and their various neighbours can best be secured. Meanwhile no scheme of the character suggested will be adopted.
