Friend's question is in the affirmative; the answer to the second part is that the salary is £700 a year; the answer to the third part is in the affirmative; the answer to the fourth part is in the negative; and in answer to the fifth part I may say that the Sub-Commissioners are, and I have no doubt will continue to be, whole-time officers.
