§ Mr. PIRIEasked the Secretary for Scotland what steps he proposes to take in view of the shortage in the amount available for the additional fee Grant under Section 17 (11) of the Education (Scotland) Act of 1908, which took the place of the additional Aid Grant; and if he can hold out any prospect of an early remedy, seeing that at a time when school boards are being pressed to meet the new requirements of the Act this shortage means a serious addition to their local rates?
