§ Sir RANDOLF BAKERasked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether he has received an application for a Grant from the Development Fund from the Southern Sea Fisheries District; and whether, if so, he has forwarded this application to the Development Commissioners, and with what result?
§ Mr. RUNCIMANThe reply to the first and second inquiry is in the affirmative. Pending the further consideration of the general scheme proposed by the Board for the improvement of the fisheries the Development Commissioners have recommended that certain interim Grants should be made in which the Southern Sea fisheries district will participate. I hope shortly to be in a position to communicate with the Committee on the subject.
