HC Deb 20 June 1912 vol 39 c1986W
Mr. FFRENCH

asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) whether the cases of sheep scab in Ireland were more numerous for the four months ended April, 1912, than the four months ended April, 1911; and, if so, to what does he attribute the increase?

Mr. RUSSELL

During four months ended 30th April, 1912, 237 outbreaks of sheep scab were recorded in Ireland, as against 222 in corresponding period of 1911. This difference, which is not considerable, cannot easily be assigned to any specific cause
