HC Deb 20 June 1912 vol 39 c1988W
Mr. WEIGALL

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War who are the contractors for the supply of petrol to the Army; and what guarantees are there that there is at any one time a reserve supply in their hands in excess of annual requirements?

Mr. TENNANT

The present contractors are the Anglo-American Oil Company. The annual requirements are relatively so small that they fall far short of the stock available, but, as I have already informed the hon. Gentleman, the best method of meeting war requirements is at the present moment engaging the most careful attention.
