HC Deb 19 June 1912 vol 39 c1808W
Mr. STAVELEY-HILL

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether a person who holds two or more offices under a board of guardians and; resigns one of such offices with a view to obtaining superannuation under the Poor Law Officers' Superannuation Act, 1896, in respect of the office resigned by him, after grant of superannuation may continue to hold the remaining offices?

Mr. BURNS

As at present advised I consider that all service under any body to which the Poor Law Officers' Superannuation Act, 1896 applies must have ceased before the right to pension accrues.
