HC Deb 14 June 1912 vol 39 cc1282-3W
Mr. TYSON WILSON

asked the hon. Member if his attention has been called to the case of George Hollman, who has been in the employ of the Office of Works forty-three years, but who is now certified to be no longer able to follow his occupation owing to the effect of two accidents-he met with while following his employment; and whether, under the circumstances, he can see his way to make this man a compassionate Grant in addition to the bonus he is entitled to?

Mr. WEDGWOOD BENN

The case of George Hollman is being submitted to the Treasury, with whom rests the decision as to the amount of the retiring gratuity to which he is entitled. The full particulars as to the accidents will be reported to the Treasury.
