HC Deb 13 June 1912 vol 39 c1195W
Mr. O'SHAUGHNESSY

asked whether the Estates Commissioners received a petition from the town tenants of Askeaton, in the county of Limerick, asking to have given to them a portion of the untenanted land on the Hewson property at Clounreask, adjacent to the town; and whether the Commissioners, when apportioning these lands, will take their case into consideration?

Mr. BIRRELL

The reply to the first paragraph of the question is in the affirmative. The Estates Commissioners have decided to make an allotment of portion of the lands to Trustees to be held for the benefit of the occupiers in Askeaton.
