HC Deb 13 June 1912 vol 39 cc1203-4W
Mr. BOWERMAN

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that men transferred from London to the Birmingham stores department suffered a real loss in wages; and whether, in view of the circumstances of these men being compelled to remove from London, he will consider the possibility of removing the hardship of suffering a reduction in wages as well?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave to a similar question asked by him in this House on the 24th April last. I fear I can add nothing except that the men's removal expenses were paid by the Post Office.
