§ Mr. MASTERMANSales of Crown land by the Commissioners of Woods are effected under the Crown Lands Acts, 1829 and 1833. Section 60 of the former Act provides that no sale, except when the purchase money shall not exceed £100, shall be made without the previous authority of the Treasury, signified by warrant. I do not think it would be possible to adopt the suggestion in the last part of the question.
