HC Deb 13 June 1912 vol 39 cc1188-9W
Mr. RUPERT GWYNNE

asked whether application was made by the National Combined Insurance Staffs Committee for representation on the Advisory Committee under the National Insurance Act; and, if so, on what grounds the application was Ignored?

Mr. MASTERMAN

I have nothing to add to the answers I have already given to the hon. Members for Northampton, Pontefract, West Leeds, Oldham, and South Bristol, on 15th May, 4th, 5th and 6th June.

Mr. ASTOR

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether a request was made by the National Combined Insurance Staffs Committee for representation upon the Advisory Committee under the National Insurance Act; and what reply was made to this request?

Mr. POLLOCK

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether any application was received from the National Combined Insurance Staff Committee for representation upon the Advisory Committee appointed under Section 58 of the National Insurance Act, 1911; whether the same were acceded to in any case; and, if the same were not acceded to, on what ground this decision was taken?

Mr. MASTERMAN

I propose to take these two questions together. I have nothing to add to the answers I have already given to the hon. Members for Northampton, Pontefract, and West Leeds on 15th May, 4th and 5th June.
