HC Deb 12 June 1912 vol 39 cc1013-4W
Mr. STANIER

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether his attention has been called to the report of Dr. Collingridge to the Corporation of London in which he states that for some time past tuberculosis lesions have been found in Argentine beef in the central, markets, and what action he has taken in the matter?

Mr. BURNS

The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The matter has been investigated by my Inspectors of Foods, and I have asked the Foreign Office to communicate with the Argentine Government on the subject.
