HC Deb 12 June 1912 vol 39 cc1008-9W
Mr. RAMSAY MACDONALD

asked the Home Secretary whether he has made inquiries regarding Malatesta's record in this country; and whether he is now in a position to make any statement regarding his deportation?

Mr. McKENNA

I received this morning the report of the decision of the Court of Criminal Appeal in this case. I shall now, as soon as I have received the reports I called for, consider all the circumstances of the case, and decide on the merits whether or not I should act on the recommendation of the Court for expulsion. I hope to arrive at a decision shortly.
