§ Mr. RUNCIMANMy attention has not been called to any disease peculiar to Swiss trout, but I am aware of the existence of epizootic disease among trout in some parts of the Continent. I will have inquiry made, and will consider what steps, if any, are necessary to prevent the introduction of the disease into this country. Legislation, however, would be required to enable the Board to prohibit the importation of live fish or ova.
