§ Mr. LANSBURYasked the President of the Local Government Board whether, in view of the fact that Section 8 of the Vaccination Act, 1898, provides that the clerk of any sanitary authority which maintains a hospital for the treatment of small-pox patients shall keep a register containing full particulars of all cases treated therein and shall supply copies of such details when asked for, he will explain why he cannot obtain information which the Act says shall be at his disposal in regard to the vaccinal condition of the small-pox patients treated at Bradford this year?
§ Mr. BURNSThe hon. Member is under a misapprehension in assuming that I am unable to obtain the information. The register is being kept, but it has been found more convenient for the Board to obtain the particulars at the end of each year, rather than from time to time. I am, however, making a special inquiry in regard to the two Bradford cases.
