Mr. WILLIAM REDMONDasked the President of the Board of Trade if he has received representations as to the rates charged to Ennis by the Great Southern and Western Railway Company, Ireland; and if he will give this matter his attention, in view of the importance of the matter to the traders and people generally of the county Clare?
Mr. BUXTONI have received representations on this subject, and have been in communication with the Great Southern and Western Railway Company, who are consulting the other companies concerned with a view to the reduction of certain rates to which attention was called. The Board will not lose sight of the question, and I will inform my hon. Friend of the result in due course.
