§ Mr. BIRRELLAn extra force of one officer and fifty men from the county of Meath were sent to Bangor on the 12th instant for duty on the 13th on the occasion of a meeting being held at that place. These police were sent at the request of the county inspector, who considered them necessary for the preservation of the peace.
