Mr. HARCOURTA Canadian Act of this year "to authorise a bounty to Volunteers who served the Crown during the Fenian Raids" empowers the Governor in Council to grant 100 dollars to every Volunteer living at the time of the passing of the Act, which confines the Grant to Canadian Militia Corps. It does not extend to officers and men of the Regular Army.
