§ Mr. WATTasked the Secretary to the Treasury what is the position under the National Insurance Act of a caretaker and his wife who are paid a joint sum as wages for work rendered by both: and will it be 229W necessary for the employer to pay the weekly sum for each of the two, or will the wife be exempted from the Act?
