§ Sir COURTENAY WARNERasked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he will give general instructions to officers commanding Territorial divisions to consider the recommendations of battalion commanders and Territorial associations as to dates of training convenient to the men; and if he will prevent such representations being overruled as has occurred in the case of the 5th Battalion Suffolk Regiment.
§ Colonel SEELYParagraphs 304 and 344 Territorial Force Regulations lay down that the programme of training and the formation of camps will be arranged by the divisional, mounted brigade, or coast defence commanders after consultation with the County Associations concerned. I am not aware of the circumstances of the case mentioned, but I will make inquiries.
