§ Mr. H. BAKERThere is no information in the War Office to bear out the allegation contained in the first part of the question; but perhaps the Noble Lord can supply me with some details. As regards the suggestion contained in the second part of the question this matter was very fully considered last year and it was not found possible to introduce the system of weekly payments.
