§ Mr. MASTERMANA Special Order extending the provisions of Section 47 of the National Insurance Act to the employés of the society mentioned in the question will be published in the course of a few days and will be brought into force at once. The Order is the first of its kind and some time has necessarily been occupied in settling the questions of legal form and in making arrangements to enable the Order to be brought into force as a Provisional Order without its having been subject to the waiting period of not less than fifty-one days, which must in normal circumstances elapse before a Special Order becomes effective.
