§ Mr. LEWIS HASLAMasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in consideration of the complaints made on account of the unhealthy conditions of seaman's quarters on merchant ships, he will consider the advisability of issuing information and plans showing how adequate provision for ventilation and other methods of ensuring healthy conditions have been satisfactorily provided on various classes of ships, and generally explaining to shipbuilders and owners by what means the Regulations under the Merchant Shipping Acts may be best carried out to ensure the health of seamen on board such ships?
