§ Sir HENRY KIMBERasked the Secretary for War whether he is aware that the name of the Royal Oak Benefit Society (No. 141) has been omitted from the list of approved societies published by the Army Council as admitting soldiers, although 2671W that society has signified its willingness to admit men serving in the Army; and whether he will arrange for this omission to be immediately rectified?
§ Colonel SEELYNo reply has been received from the Royal Oak Benefit Society to a letter of the 8th July asking whether they would admit soldiers as members as freely as civilians. Inclusion of their name in the list awaits their reply to this letter.
