HC Deb 03 April 1912 vol 36 cc1271-2W
Mr. ROBERT HARCOURT

asked the Lord Advocate whether he is aware that an inquiry has been held into the circumstances of the death of A. Findlay, in Forfar; and on what ground access to the Report is refused to the representatives of the deceased.

Mr. URE

That Report is an official document and according to established practice the invariable rule has been, and is, that all such Reports are confidential documents and are not available for other than official purposes.
