§ Sir HENRY KIMBERasked whether any regulation will be made by the Insurance Commissioners under the authority given in Clause 21, Section 5, of the National Insurance Bill prohibiting meetings of approved societies to which women and young persons have to attend for the purposes of receiving benefits or any other 158W purposes in connection therewith meeting on licensed premises; and, if so, will such regulation permit of such society holding any meetings in connection with its voluntary section in such place as it may itself decide, whether licensed or unlicensed?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEI cannot give any pledge as to the manner in which the Insurance Commissioners may exercise the discretion left to them by the Bill. On the general question I would invite the hon. Baronet's attention to the speech of my right hon. and learned Friend the Attorney-General on the 27th October during the discussion of this Sub-section in Committee.
