HC Deb 13 November 1911 vol 31 c160W
Mr. MULDOON

asked the Chief Secretary whether he can give the names of the solicitors to whom the business of collecting unpaid annuities is sent by the Irish Land Commission; and if be can say upon what principle they have been selected?

Mr. BIRRELL

I have received from the Land Commission a list of the solicitors who act in cases where proceedings are being taken in the county courts for the recovery of arrears of land purchase annuities due to the Land Commission. I will furnish the hon. Member with a copy of the list. These solicitors are selected by the Commissioners on the ground of being most suitable for the performance of the legal business involved.
