§ Lord CHARLES BERESFORDasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether there have been many cases of blood-poisoning at Osborne College; and, if so, whether these cases have occurred through the foulness of the River Medina owing to the sewers running into it near the Kingston workshops?
Mr. LAMBERTThere have been only two cases among Cadets at Osborne College which could be described as "blood-poisoning" since the college was opened in 1903. There is no evidence to connect either with the condition of the River Medina.
