§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners inform me that Reilly's former holding is in the occupation of another tenant, with whom the Commissioners have been in negotiation with a view to effecting Reilly's reinstatement, but are unable to agree to his terms. The holding cannot be acquired compulsorily under the Evicted Tenants Act, and, as Reilly has refused to take a holding elsewhere, the Commissioners do not propose to take any further action in the matter.
