HC Deb 02 May 1911 vol 25 c400W
Mr. WATT

asked the President of the Board of Trade what was the maximum speed sanctioned by his Department for the tramway cars in the city of Glasgow?

Mr. BUXTON

The maximum speeds fixed for tramcars in Glasgow vary in different parts of the city from four miles to sixteen miles an hour. I am sending my hon. Friend copies of the regulations in which the limits of speed are prescribed.
