§ Mr. LOGANasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether the officers of the Board who investigated the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease at Chobham, Surrey, made any inquiries with the view of ascertaining if such outbreak was due to the use of contaminated vaccine lymph or other sera; whether the order to which reference was made in the Board's Annual Report for 1909, bringing all experimental inoculations of animals with the living virus of certain highly dangerous diseases under the effective control of the Board, has been prepared; and, if so, when will it be issued?
§ Sir E. STRACHEYSuch inquiries were made, but no evidence was obtained indicating that the outbreak was in any way due to contaminated vaccine lymph or sera. The question of the issue of an Order of the character referred to is still under consideration.
