McCarthy, of 21, Ravenscourt 2593W Park, W., who was given the telephone number 1,123 Chiswick seven months ago on the signature of his contract, has up to date been unable to have a telephone instrument installed, in consequence of which he has cancelled his contract; and whether he is aware that from the date he signed his contract till the present date there have been no spares in the Chiswick exchange; and, if so, whether the enlargement of the Chiswick switchboard presented insuperable difficulties?
