§ Mr. CHIOZZA MONEYasked the Postmaster-General if his attention has been directed to the conditions of the pay of postmen in the district of Caterham, Surrey; if he is aware that the postmen at Caterham Valley have a maximum of 25s., while the postmen at Caterham, i.e., Upper Caterham, have a maximum of 23s., the work in each case being of similar character and the volume of work fully as great, if not greater, at Caterham than at Caterham Valley; if he is aware that the cost of living, owing to the altitude of Upper Caterham and cost of transport, is rather higher for the Caterham men than for the Caterham Valley men; and if he will see that all these men are placed on the same footing?
