§ Mr. RUNCIMANThe number of colleges is thirty-one; the total grant for the1180W year ended 31st July, 1910, was £150,053. The amount contributed in voluntary subscriptions for the maintenance of residential Church of England training colleges was £8,506 7s. This sum does not include some £860 specially contributed for new buildings and the like. Sixteen of these colleges also received income during the same year from endowments, the aggregate value of which was about £785.
