Mr. BUXTONIt is not possible to state an average price for all descriptions of pig-iron for the United States as a whole. According to the information in possession of the Board of Trade, however, it appears that at the beginning of March, 1011, the price of Bessemer pig-iron at Pittsburg was 15 dollars 90 cents, equivalent to 66s. 3d. per ton.
