Royal Small Arms Factory 1,848 Royal Gunpowder Factory 700 The above figures are exclusive of the Building Works Department, but include those employed in the Central Office Accounts Branch on the work of these two factories. The numbers employed in the Building Works Department amount to twenty-four at Enfield and fifty-two at Waltham.
