§ Mr. GOLDMANasked the President of the Local Government Board, whether, in view of the evils arising out of the adulteration of food, he proposes to take any action for the establishment of a court of reference as recommended by the Select Committee on Food Products Adulteration in 1896, and similarly urged by the Departmental Committee appointed in 1899 by the President of the Local Government Board?
§ Mr. BURNSThis is one of the subjects which I have under consideration in connection with proposals for the amendment of the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts, but I cannot at present state what action may be taken in regard to the particular proposal mentioned.
