§ Viscount WOLMERasked the President of the Local Government Board whether his attention has been drawn to the resolutions passed by the Haydock Urban District Council, Newton-in-Makerfield Urban District Council, Ashton-in-Makerfield Urban District Council, and by the St. Helen's Town Council urging His Majesty's Government to promote legislation in the present Session of Parliament on the lines of the Local Authorities Combined Drainage Bill or of the Public Health (Sewers and Drains) Bill; and, if so, whether he proposes to take any action in the matter?
