§ Mr. CHARLES BATHURSTasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether the Bill for the promotion of agricultural credit societies, about to be introduced into the House of Lords by the President of the Board, will provide for the requirements of small holders only or for village tradesmen and others as well; whether the existing joint stock banks have all consented to cooperate in the Government scheme; and, if not, which of them have done so; and whether it, is still intended to make the county councils part of the machinery for carrying it out?
