§ Mr. FETHERSTONHAUGHasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, in view of the objection of the inhabitants of the townships of Clontarf, Fairview, Drumcondra, and Kilmainham to the legislation of the Sunday drink traffic from which they have enjoyed exemption for over thirty years, he will abandon Clause 4 of the Dublin Police Bill, which proposes to allow the opening of public-houses on Sunday afternoons, a proposal which is objectionable to a seaside district like Clontarf adjacent to a large city?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe retention of Clause 4 in the Bill is a matter for the Committee and the House.
