HC Deb 04 July 1911 vol 27 c1103W
Mr. ALDEN

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether it was the intention of His Majesty's Government to take any action in the matter of a petition to the Colonial Secretary from the self-governing dominions which was presented last November, and which prayed that Great Britain might cease to offer a premium for violation of the bird laws of her overseas possessions by furnishing a market for plumage illicitly exported.

Mr. HARCOURT

The question whether any and, if so, what action should be taken for the restriction of the trade in plumage is under consideration.
