HC Deb 27 February 1911 vol 22 c178W
Mr. LANSBURY

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture if the Board has received an application for a grant in aid of the funds of the Vacant Land Cultivation Society; if such application has been refused; if the Irish Board of Agriculture has granted a sum of £50 to the society for its work in Dublin; and, if so, whether the English Board will reconsider the matter and give a grant in aid of the work carried on in and around London?

Sir E. STRACHEY

The answer to the first and second parts is in the affirmative. The answer to the third part is that the Board have no information. The Board have no funds out of which it would be competent for them to give a grant to the society.
