HC Deb 27 February 1911 vol 22 c176W
Mr. WILES

asked the Postmaster-General how many superintendents are employed respectively in the Manchester and Liverpool sorting offices and in the London district offices?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

Five superintendents are employed in the letter and parcel sorting offices at Manchester, and the same number at Liverpool. Superintendents in the London Postal Service occupy a higher position than superintendents in the provinces, and none of them are employed in the London district offices.
